Why this is the default build
- Unbreaking III greatly slows durability loss on long flights.
- Mending repairs elytra with XP and saves constant membrane use.
- Elytra have a short enchant list, which makes them a good target for shareable saved calculator links.
What still matters on the anvil
Even simple builds can waste levels if you combine books in a careless order. The calculator is useful here because it keeps the exact item and enchants in the URL, which makes it easy to reopen the same setup later.
