How many items fit in a shulker box?
A shulker box has 27 slots, like a regular chest: 1,728 blocks if they stack to 64, 432 if they stack to 16, and 27 unstackable items. A double chest full of shulker boxes holds 54 of them — 93,312 blocks.
Which items stack to 16?
Ender pearls, snowballs, eggs, signs, banners, empty buckets, honey bottles, written books, armor stands, and cushions. Tools, weapons, armor, potions, filled buckets, enchanted books, and shulker boxes don't stack at all. Everything else stacks to 64. The calculator's search knows the stack size of every item in the game.
How fast does a hopper move items?
One item every 8 ticks — 2.5 items per second, 150 per minute. A stack of 64 takes 25.6 seconds, a full shulker box 11.5 minutes. To keep a sorter up, run several hopper lines in parallel.
