How it works
Every Ender Chest opened by one player exposes the same 27 slots regardless of location or dimension. Another player sees their own contents, so it cannot serve as a shared team container.
Crafting and harvesting
The recipe surrounds an Eye of Ender with eight obsidian blocks. A pickaxe without Silk Touch destroys the chest while losing the eye and returning obsidian, so a portable access point needs the correct enchanted tool.
Using shulker boxes
A shulker box keeps its inventory when broken, allowing filled boxes to occupy the Ender Chest's 27 slots. This multiplies portable capacity and protects the stored load from an ordinary player death.
What to store
Keep food, rockets, tools, backup armor, and one empty loot box inside. Carry the Ender Chest beside a Silk Touch pickaxe rather than locking the only access tool inside the storage itself.
