Where to find
Piglin brutes generate with specific bastion sections and normally do not respawn after death. Each bastion therefore has a limited population.
Behavior and danger
A brute immediately attacks with an axe, alerts normal piglins, and does not retreat from soul-fire items. Wearing gold armor provides no protection from hostility.
Drops and uses
The main loot is its held golden axe and experience, with no exclusive rare material. Defeating it primarily grants safer access to bastion chests.
Strategy and edition notes
Use a two-block pillar, shield, bow, or solid partitions to isolate brutes. Their high-difficulty Bedrock damage is especially dangerous, so never fight beside lava.
