RedstoneShort pulse

How to obtain

An observer uses cobblestone, two redstone dust, and Nether quartz. Its face must point at the block being monitored.

How it works

It reacts to recognized updates and emits a pulse from the red dot on its back. The exact event set differs slightly by edition.

Where to use it

The block triggers sugar cane, bamboo, pumpkin, and kelp farms, as well as compact clocks and state detectors.

Practical tips

Plan orientation before placement because reversing one often means rebuilding the circuit. Two observers facing each other form a fast clock.
