How to craft it
Place a chest between two shulker shells. Shells come from shulkers in End Cities, so large-scale production begins after defeating the dragon and reaching the outer islands.
Keeping contents
When broken, the box drops as an item with all 27 internal slots intact. It can be carried, placed again, and inspected through its tooltip without unpacking every item into the normal inventory.
Limitations
A shulker box cannot be placed inside another shulker box, preventing infinite nesting. The lid needs clearance to open, and a piston can break a placed box and push it out as an item.
Organizing supplies
Dye boxes by purpose and name them on an anvil for tools, food, redstone, or building blocks. Several labeled boxes inside an Ender Chest turn personal storage into a dependable mobile warehouse.
