Where to find
Piglins spawn in Nether wastes, crimson forests, and bastion remnants. Outside the Nether they eventually convert into zombified piglins.
Behavior and danger
At least one gold armor piece prevents normal hostility, but opening protected containers or mining gold still angers nearby piglins.
Drops and uses
Throw a gold ingot to barter for a random item such as ender pearls, obsidian, gravel, and other resources. Killing a piglin is not a substitute for bartering.
Strategy and edition notes
Wear gold boots and contain the barter area. Tables and probabilities differ by Java and Bedrock version, so item sorting should target the actual edition.
