How to craft it
Smelt ancient debris into netherite scrap, then combine four scrap with four gold ingots. Ingredient placement is shapeless, but every ingot always consumes the complete set of eight components.
Equipment upgrades
A smithing table combines a Netherite Upgrade template, a diamond item, and one ingot. Enchantments, name, durability, and prior-work history remain, so preparing a strong diamond base first is worthwhile.
Other uses
Nine ingots form a netherite block, while an ingot and chiseled stone bricks make a lodestone. Blocks store material compactly, but turning the full reserve into decoration before finishing equipment is risky.
Item properties
Netherite items do not burn in fire or lava like ordinary drops, although the player still takes damage and the items can still be lost to the void. It is useful insurance, not a replacement for care in the Nether or End.
