Where to find
Bees live in natural nests generated on trees near flowers and in player-crafted beehives. Flowers attract them and support breeding.
Behavior and danger
A bee gathers pollen, fertilizes crops, and returns home. Attacking one can anger the colony; after stinging, the bee loses its stinger and eventually dies.
Drops and uses
Shears collect honeycomb and bottles collect honey. Campfire smoke prevents aggression, while Silk Touch moves a nest together with its bees.
Strategy and edition notes
Cover the campfire with carpet so bees cannot touch the flame, and keep flowers nearby. Hive timing differs between Java and Bedrock, so test automation locally.
