Durability use

Most intended item actions consume durability; special actions such as Lunge can have their own cost.

Unbreaking

Unbreaking does not add durability; it gives each use a chance not to consume it.

Mending

Experience orbs repair one eligible damaged Mending item.

Anvil penalty

Material repair and item combining raise the prior-work penalty and make future operations more expensive.
