Where to find
Arrange four soul sand or soul soil blocks in a T and place three wither skeleton skulls on top. The boss charges briefly and creates a powerful spawning explosion.
Behavior and danger
The Wither flies, selects targets, and fires explosive skulls. At half health it gains protection from normal projectiles and forces a melee phase.
Drops and uses
The guaranteed Nether star crafts a beacon and survives ordinary explosions. Summoning skulls are rare drops from wither skeletons.
Strategy and edition notes
Choose a confined area far from the base and bring Smite, milk, and strong food. The Bedrock fight is substantially harder, summons extra mobs, and needs a dedicated strategy.
